A new BonkEnc snapshot is available now! It fixes some bugs found in v1.0 Beta 4 and introduces support for a local freedb database.

Version 1.0 beta 4 of BonkEnc has been released today! The new version includes lots of bug fixes and some interesting new features:

• FLAC format support
• updated encoders: LAME, Ogg Vorbis, Bonk
• new translations: Czech, Korean, Danish, Swedish, Slovak and Portuguese (Brazilian)
• improved user interface
• support for playlists and cue sheets

As of today the BonkEnc website uses the Joomla content management system as it's engine. All content is now organized in a database and managed through an easy to use administration tool. This will make it easier for us to manage the site and will surely make the site more interesting and easier to browse for you.

A new BonkEnc snapshot has been released today. The CVS 20060329 release already contains a lot of features of the upcoming Beta 4 release.

Anton Mjörnebrant has contributed a Swedish translation for BonkEnc. The update is now available via easyUpdate.

The long awaited intermediate release is now ready for download! This snapshot is an important milestone on the road to BonkEnc v1.0.
